I had my 9000 dyno tested today and got some interesting results. First, here are the numbers (arranged from least power to most power):

Run 3 Stock 116.2/130.5 5500RPM
Run 5 Stock, no fuse 117.1/127.6 5500RPM
Run 4 T5boost4, with fuse 123.1/137.6 5500RPM
Run 1 T5Boost4, no fuse 118.3/153.5 5000RPM
Run 2 T5Boost4, no fuse 122.6/144/1 5500RPM

I tried 4 different configurations, since I had an automatic and wanted to see the effect of pulling fuse #9.

I am definitely disappointed with the results. The dyno shop was oriented to hot-rods and muscle cars than Euro cars and things with fuel injection - so maybe this was part of the unfamiliarity problem with the dyno and the results. (Although he did tell me his wife just got a new Audi A3 with the 2.0 FSI engine and has installed a new ECU and downpipe..so he wasn't totally unfamiliar with Euro cars.)

They were using a Mustang Dynamometer MD-250 and the operator had a bit of trouble at first with the car hitting the rev limiter??. Also, he was having trouble getting a good RPM signal from the connector on the side of the DI hooked up to the PC on the dyno. (I assume this could throw off the results a bit, but not sure how). For example, the dyno was reading 1000 RPM or so high when the car was idling. He went into the software on the dyno PC and changed a value and ended up being a bit better. Also, he said you can figure in a 25% drivetrain loss into these numbers. Finally, there was no fan in front of the car, so I assume the heat (it was about 70 degrees out) was starting to get to the car after the 1st run. You can see that the first run, even at a lower 5000RPM yielded the most torque and only slightly less HP than the second run.

The good news for me is that the T5Boost4 works well, and definitely makes power over the stock setup. The operator also said the engine does not get too lean, but stays in a nice range. I'll post graphs below so you all can see and comment on them.

So, what do you think, and what about the results of the T5Boost4? Does it really lean out too much??
