An attempt to get rid of the clutch pedal and you only needed to move the gear shifter and it declutched automatically while you shifted.
So they installed this elaborate electrical/computerized/hydraulic system that when you touched the gear shifter, an electric motor and gear box pushed the clutch master cylinder that in turns activated the slave cylinder and pressure plate.
This elaborate system did what you easily could do by pressing the clutch pedal with your foot, activating the master cylinder.
Go figure.
You can actually see the clutch master cylinder on the other picture (Heng-08) and how it is activated by the Sensonic system.
