Same deal, smelled of fresh spraypaint, black inside, and I recently took the board out to investigate further and saw that on the back the common resistor mod has been performed, replacing I think R12 and R42 (??) with different resistors, which ups the boost from stock.

If anyone wants the seller's name, let me know, he still has a box listed almost constantly, always the same description and photos, and says how it is "Group6's top stage box" or something like that.

I figured out what had really happened too late to do anything through eBay, but now I may send him an e-mail telling him to stop selling them or I will report it, since now there is a current case of this.

I have seen them listed on and off for 3-4 years, all frauds unfortunately.
