I just wanted to clarify a couple of things.

1. We dont want to change the manifold, just the downpipe. Sorry if I wasnt clear on this.

2. Jak, great point. I started thinking about your comments and it really would make sense to use a cat in this system... Thanks.

3. The thought process regarding noise was to build it and clamp first, test for volume and then after changes (addition of resonator or other) go back and weld it.

If I didnt have access to the raw materials and labor at cost or less, I would definately consider a system from one of the sponsors. However at this point it seems as though we can get a well built (custom?) system on the car for a lot less than $500 +/-.

Thanks again for your insight and thoughtful comments. I am used to classic 900s and this is my first 9000. So far, aside from my 2000 Aero wagon, this is my favorite already.
