Interesting idea to cut power to the BPC. Your base boost is 15 psi, though? Seems awfully high, and even at 15 psi I think you will have a tough time controlling wheel spin and hop. With the BHP you put to the wheels I think 10 psi or less should be the launch target. The dual stage manual boost controller gives you that abaility to dial it in. There's also more sophisticated options available that give you multiple stages of dialed in control.
I think shutting off the BPC might flip out the ECU, but you are, of course, the ECU wizard! It would be like a vaccuum hose coming off the BPC, and you'd probably get a CEL.
Another option/add-on: super stiff rear shocks and springs. Not sure what you are running right now, but this can't hurt for maintaining front traction and downforce.
