the T25 can be pushed to about 260BHP
the GT28RS can be pushed to about 350BHP
thats not 10X more air its about 30% more which is about the increase a stage4 ECU will give with stock injectors
the stock injectors will suport just about 310BHP which is rite about what the GT28RS is going to make at a peak of 14 lbs tapering to 11 lbs & it definatly wont make that much with all the other stuff stock (exhaust & intercooler)
stock SW with a stock turbo runs stupid rich like 10:1 so at stock boost levels the GT28RS will not kill the engine definatly not with the rest of the hardware being stock
I had my car on the dyno before I put on the 65lb injectors & was running 50 lb injectors making 380WHP at about 13.8:1 AF under boost this is lean.
I ran the car for a while like that, it isent ideal but my 200Kmi engine is still together in one piece
if roy wants to hack it he will put the turbo on with no other mods & see what happens?
if he wants to do it rite he will put on the hardware & SW sugjested by this board & have a long lasting fun car & no wories, the choice is his.....
sounds like roy is coming on asking questions but allready has his own answers & he will learn by trial & error probably more then by the advise of the board & thats his perogative
take care
