Now i know your all going to tell me T7's are cheaper... you cant run it with T5 blah blah blah. Please read before replying! Thank you!
Im running a standalone EMS on my car (so T5 is gone) I need to swap out the T5 BPC for a T7 one. I know T7 is two wire connection and T5 is three wires. I am assuming the third wire on the T5 BPC is a feedback wire to the trionic 5 ECU telling it what its doing. (so the ecu knows its functioning properly) Im assuming if you take this wire away that the T5 ECU will think its malfunctioned and will run the car on base boost. Since im using a standalone EMS im figuring i should be able to cut off the T5 BPC connection and solder on a T7 connection to the two wires i need leaving off the third wire (the feedback wire) and that the valve will still function correctly.
Am i missing anything? Anyone have details on the differences of the valves?
Thanks!
