You are following my foot steps, I too did both motor/trans mounts and last year had a quaife installed and the gearbox overhauled in my 00 Vig. You are going to love the results and wonder why the factory didn't do this in the first place.
Don't forget there is a trans update kit from Saab (GS has it) that may apply to your gearbox. One note to make is that the update kit adds a syncro to reverse gear and that syncro required a bit of massaging to fit.
