It does get frustrating, huh?

I used to subsribe to a few Euro auto mags (this was even before GM-Saab), and could count on one hand the number of times Saab was mentioned during the year in any of them.

Problem with Saab's is that you either love them or hate them: there's no middle ground. People don't pine for Saab's, or decide last-minute on a sunny weekend to test drive a Saab. The opposite is true for the other Euro cars. What's not to love about a BMW or an Audi? VW's tend to attract the younger crowd (as in Jetta's and Cabrio's), much like Honda's do. But Saab's carried the stigma of being associated with those who enjoyed crunchy granola and veggie diets, not with the awesome power and handling capabilities they truly possess.

I've finally realized it's actually a lot more fun knowing I own and deeply love a car that is one-of-a-kind (in styling, at least), highly accomodating (luggage space), and is a stealth sleeper at the stoplight ("wolf in sheep's clothing").
