97 Aero O2 sensor (rear) Posted by jdlincoln [Email] (#640) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jdlincoln) on Thu, 26 Jul 2007 08:48:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Just installed a 3 " Jak downpipe plus a Bar and plate intercooler last week. Car already had 2.5" SD cat back, K&N filter and SQR stage II ecu.
Rebuilt the water pump, installed new vac. lines, changed over to lifetime antifreeze while I was at it. Car has 93,000 miles and a brand new (3000 mi ) red DI.
Getting a CEL which Saab tec 2 says "rear O2 sensor short to ground" I know there was some wire twisting invonved when I did the downpipe. Is there anything to check first before just biting the bullet and ordering a new $220.00 O2 sensor? The car has, and still does run perfectly. This is the first time it has ever thrown a CEL.
TIA
