The beauty of nitrous injection systems (at least the "wet" ones) is that the fuel is supplied at exactly the same time as the nitrous through the same nozzle. So the fuel supply is timed perfectly...with one little caveat.
Most nitrous companies recommend a "purge kit" that allows one to purge the gaseous nitrous from the line between the solenoids and the bottle right before making a pass. This because it is the liquid from the bottle that is ultimately needed. However, if you make a pass without purging, the warmed gas in the line from the bottle will soften the introduction of the horsepower and, though it might add a tenth to your ET, it makes the power entry VERY smooth and pretty darn progressive. Another bonus is that the fuel has a split second head start on the mixture so that it's flowing full tilt when the nitrous line begins to flow liquid and the oxy content hits it's peak.
Ahhh it's good to talk nitrous on TSN!
My 1996 SETC is looking at me right now...I wonder what it's thinking...
