I am one of the people who feels it's more like 15, at least 15 more ft lbs of torque, not sure about hp. I think both numbers are possibly vaild. Let me explain... The bigger downpipe definitely lets the turbo spool up and make boost faster - in my case, I'd say about 500 rpm earlier. So, around 3000 rpm, the increase is probably in the 15 range, but by the time you're up around 5000 rpm, the gap is smaller, probably 5 or so. Does that make sense? I definitely think it's worthwhile. If you're in a snowbelt, I'd go for stainless, otherwise, aluminized steel is probably fine.
