So this car (2001 9-3 base) hasn't run right for 6 months or more and many of you probably remember the misfire post...So I've replaced ALOT of things some more than 2 times...Needless to say I have alot of extra parts...
What it does is over-shoots boost and then quickly drops...It seems to get more affected by heat and the speed in which boost comes in...Meaning lower gears looks more apparent...One thing I'm noticing now is that when it over-shoots I hear either a sucking or a releasing of air that sounds as though it's coming from in front of the drivers side...Under the hood of course...Sounds like maybe a little lower middle right side behind the firewall...It's almost like when full boost is reached a something is not holding and it's makeing a ppppppssssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh sound that is distinctly different sounding that the intake or blow off...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I would love for my car to run right someday...
