Stick with the stock slotted, but if you can find after market that have the slots pointing in the right direction on all corners then go that route. Saab cheaped out and cut them all the same way thus you have one side pointing front and the other pointing toward the back. I have the R1's which were cheap as hell and so far they worked fine (8000 miles).
