The difference that 4 lbs makes in a package weighing 40 lbs. that you have a reduction of 10% weight on that corner alone. Whether you are sensitive enough to notice can only be answered by you. Your vehicle should accelerate to 100 KPH .1 seconds faster. If this was on a circuit you would probably notice about a half second drop in lap times. Of course there are many variables that can come into play. But I am dealing with a 2.5 mile circuit with 11 medium speed turns 2 slow and 1 fast.
Keep in mind the lighter you go the easier they are to bend and break. Light wheels are not strong enough for every day driving (potholes, Speedbumps, Driveway entrances, and curbs).
