No polys up front -- no oversteer either Posted by TODDMO [Email] (#493) [Profile/Gallery] (more from TODDMO) on Thu, 1 Jan 2009 06:38:45 In Reply to: Re: Searched: Need more info on "dual rear sway bar", sam96CS [Profile/Gallery] , Wed, 31 Dec 2008 13:58:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The only poly bushings I have are on the rear location of the front wishbones. I just installed these last week. I've only owned this car for a few months, so I'm slowly going through and sorting everything out to my prefered specs. I tried to rotate the car last night with some aggresssive cornering (no left foot braking, though). It turns in sharply, but defintely doesn't want to "come around" like some rear wheel drive cars I've owned. I will measure the diameter of both F and R sway bars next time I have the car off the ground. My main concern was the car oversteering in the wet at high speed -- something very few FWD cars with do stock. In the meantime, SAS are on my to-do list. Thanks for the help.
