I agree with this post, I think that an argument can be made that Saab never made a "performance" camshaft for any c900/9000 motor! Swapping stock NA and stock turbo cams in some quest for a magic combination just sounds silly to me. I'm sure you can - and may have already - found an optimal pairing, but you won't be taking a real performance step until you put in a high lift cam, port the head, and possibly upsize valves. I have never used SD cams but I would call them up and see what kind of game they are talking. Are they fresh cores with custom grinds? That can be very expensive. Maybe they are regrinds of stock cams that work with your stock lifters. There are sources in Europe too if you look.
You have to decide what kind of power you want. Are you trying to emulate a modern Saab Turbo with smooth torque buildup and a long torque curve? Do you have to pass a smog test? Or do you just want to make the maximum power this motor can put out? Each choice is a different cam and different package of course.
