Huge improvement in manners from higher speed stopping. In short the rear brake torque helps bring the rear down and keeps from overloading the relatively soft front springs, be it Vig or aftermarket. Now once you got to some real track springs all the way around you can further play with balance.
Usually my reasong goes like this;
288-308 fronts stock pads
308- Hawk HPS or other sport pad.
300mm rears factory pads
track pads in the rear
330+ front bnrakes with track pads.
The key here is the fronts do the work but you need better tires to use the one time braking. For mulrtiple full braking events then you need better cooling. This is where the vented rears shine. I threw my 336mm Winer power in the corner. (Sold under ma and sp brands too. )
Call and Ask Steven here about them ;) He was used to driving my Vig and others we have bult here with the 300mm rears and then drove Eds 500hp Viggen with stock brakes.. Similar pads even. 8) moment.
You can find junkyard brakes and use my custom lines for a cheap upgrade.
