I was hoping someone would chime in, this could have been a good discussion.

Check out this article, it might be a little technical, but it is *extremely* well written about the sorts of things that your rotating element bearings go through and what you take into account when spec'ing engine bearings.

My 900 engine has one of the Clevite77 series competition bearings (I believe, don't remember which series) that were ordered through Lesco Race Engine Development, in San Luis Obispo, CA when they did all the machining on my engine. Stephen, the proprietor is extremely helpful, you can reach them at 805-596-0400.

Stephen's dad Dave posts here regularly, as '900 Aero', he'd be the one to ask as well - he's the Saab nut of their family!
