I have a 1999 viggen with 18" Rials. Same tires size as you 225/40/18 with the koni yellows and the sport shock kit from GS.com.
I have very light rubbing when pulling into parking spaces, making hard turns at high speeds and occasional rubbing from bottoming out in the rear on some rough bumps.
Car looks great though. The rubbing is so light that I plan on using the same size tire when they need replaced.
Just some info for you to consider.
