hey Ive been driving this 1990 900S for several months now I got it for $500 cherry but with a bad trans & warn out engine
I put in a low milage rebuilt trans & a 130kmi engine & put a $1000 stereo in it
I freaking love this car & its definatly brought me arround to my roots in saab performance the C900
I have bilsteins on it & have put a ton of pos caster allong with a little negative camber. plated the lower controll arms
Im running a stock turbo exhaust on it with a cold air intake
also moved the hall sensor to the distributor so I could advance the timing & was able to get 9 degrees more timing from it with only a little knock coming up now & then
the transformation between my car & stock ones I drive at work is night & day
Id say I added 15-20HP
the 2.1 2.42LH car is a blast
I am not going to lower it instead Ive left the stock springs,,, Ive taken it out onto the gravel & these things handle great in the dirt
I just wanted to share my exitement for this old car
I really do love the C900 you just cant push them as hard HP wise because of the traney but what an awesome car
