Im sorry guys for not following up here
I took a turbo dist, took off the vacum advance & tacked the plate still
the EZK advances the timing with a 3D map based on load & RPM
there is read write protection on the chip & I cant get a good rom immage unfortunatly
but it really helped allot
you could use a centrefugal advance one but I think having the initial timing is lower in the RPM is where its useful
I get no audible pre ignition from my car with 7-9 degrees on it
the stock timing was 10*BTDC I think Im at 17 now
with the crank mounted hall sensor if you turn the distributor all you do is make the spark miss the contact on the cap not change the timing but with the hall sensor in the dist it moves both the spark & injection timing & Im not clear on what the effect of the fuel timiing is.......if any at all
