Dropping the oil pan and pulling the valve cover to check for sludge. As there was none, that is a good sign. The main thing the car needs in frequent, 5000 mile, full synthetic oil changes. As you don't have sludge now, it most likely has gotten that all of it's life. Keep up the oil changes, keep it clean so you can see any leaks that might occur and upgrade to Stage 3 once you have gotten all preventive maintenance up to date. If you are going to upgrade, take care of little things you see wrong before the upgrade, as the increase in power will only speed up there failure. Good luck and enjoy the car and enjoy Stage 3. Like I said since there is no sludge now, it sounds like you got a well taken care of car.
