The std kit is 4 lines for the NG900/9-3 Replaces front body to caliper and rear body to axle. Axle to caliper is hardline since the caliper is fixed with 2 pistons.
If you are upgrading 9-3 to the 9-5 sliding rear caliper then you need more rubber line on the axle to caliper and that is my "blue" lines, only for the 300mm upgrade kit.
The taper /flare fittings do not need any extra sealing. The banjo bolts on the front calipers do need seal rings. If your body lines are super rusty then you may need to look at that.
