Saab makes 15x7 and 15x8 (I think) for the C900 after year 1987 or 88... I have 15x6 off of a 9000 model. All the offset on these saab rims is put on the outside of the rim pushing the rim further outboard. The other wheels I mentioned above were options on the 9000, Not the 9000 Aero version which had 16x6.5 wheels. Make sure any old Saab wheels are the 4 bolt pattern needless to say. I'd look for these old wheels at salvage yards depending on which part of the country you're in. Volvo and Saab autodismantlers in / around Sacremento California (possibly Rancho Cordova) is one good source I've bought from before, call them and they can shed more light on your question... My experience with the 15x6 wheels I've got, have 205/55 tires on them and the car is lowered via lowering springs, never get any rubbing. I've found that any wider than 6" or 6.5" width and you need a wider tire, perhaps a 215/50 if they make them. For real performance, why not get the 16x6.5 Aero wheels off a 9000 Aero and put 205x50 tires on them, or maybe a 215/45 tires for more width? However if you lower your classic 900 with those wider wheels I mentioned, you most likely will get some rubbing at full crank of the steering wheel in the front and in the rear possibly some rubbing when the rear springs are fully compressed.
