I think doing forged pistons is the better way to do it, they only cost 550.00 for a set of Woessner pistons and then you have the better design and more efficient motor. When you put a b234 bottom end on a t7 head, you lose compression, some have estimated it to be as low as 8.1/1 instead of 9.25/1 and the stock t5 pistons are not as strong as forged woessner pistons.
The cc volume of the t7 head is greater, so you will lose compression and that is why I recommend putting in forged pistons and having a bullet proof motor, the cranks are the same, you can run aftermarket rods if you want, but some have gone over 500bhp with stock b235 rods,
John
