Testing t5 trionic rev limit to 7800rpm Posted by JZW [Email] (#539) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JZW) on Sat, 9 Apr 2011 16:07:04 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Dilemma, with the help of Renton helped me out with some code changes to t5 so that the rev limit, the hard code could be changed so that the rev limit could be raised above 7500rpm. Normally t5 is only consistant to about 7350rpm, after that, its like turning it off, no longer works.
Some changes to the code in trionic have now been made and I tested it today in the drag car and it seems to work !!! It was set as soft limit at 7650 and hard limit at 7800rpm.
This is great news as the ability to run a higher rev limit was the last thing I needed to keep running my power band to near 8k and not have to buy the 3k Nira +3.
