on a '95 SE you can do some low budget stuff first:
- modify the airbox to have a 3" intake that pulls cool air from behind the bumper area
- port & polish the aluminum turbo intake pipe so that it blends better at the hose end and matches the throttle body
- remove the "silencer" from the turbo intake pipe
Next, you can either purchase a canned ECU update $500+), or find a local tuner ($100-$200), or install an MBC or MBC+A ($20 plus knowledge). Someone used to sell MBC's and MBC+A's but it's been a while - check the NG900 board.
With the sport exhaust and above updates, you should have plenty of power in first an second whereas the stock setup limits it. Id'guess you'll be around 200-205 with lots more response. If you want to go higher, you'll need to come back here and start doing things like downpipe upgrades, stage-3 ECU's fuel or turbo updates, etc. My suggestion would be to do the basic power changes and then work on the suspension: springs, Koni shocks, wheels & tires, rear A/S bar, steering rack brace, etc before getting into serious HP updates.
