Just on a chassis standpoint the stuff Nick/Genuine makes really transforms these weak chassis. If you get one (viggen or not) you will have to get all the braces, clamps etc to make the car not twist so much. Spring/shocks & a LSD are also a huge help... a big brake kit is also a nice upgrade
If you want a viggen get a 01+ model with the better pistons, or find one that has already been updated with aftermarket stuff.
If I wanted a saab for a track I would consider the 9-5 aero.... better chassis vs the 9-3's.....
