I got the info from SD (I agree the service is spotty)...
turn the P pot counterclockwise a small amount (I get 3 PSI reduction with changing from the "10 o'clock, to the 9 o'clock position) to limit max boost. I make changes a few times a year as a I change mods, manage fuel ratios, etc, and this has helped a lot. I write down the trends so I know "what position" in the p-pot gives "what boost".
The basics obviously help, but the SD APC comes set with a high "max boost" that often isn't sustainable on cars that are lightly modded.
