I got the ECU with a '96 9000 CS I bought for my daughter. Previous owner had had it for a couple of years. Claimed no issues.
I put it in my '96 CSE and have had no problems. It feels a little edgy at times, and is not quite as smooth as I'd like, but it's fine. Mileage went up slightly. Power is supposedly about 240... great low-end and the mid-range doesn't seem amazing until you look at the speedometer and see how quickly you get from 70 to 90 or so, even in to gear.
Daughter says it's really noticeable when she gets out of her car with an Aero ECU and into mine.
Do be sure other stuff is in good shape, especially suspension bits and brakes. IMHO the handling stuff comes first, then horsepower.
