You can tell all that from the photos? Amazing!
Let me assure you that this system is well engineered, and the materisls have been carefully researched.
First of all, the new inlet is easily as secure as the original. It fits very snuggly into the space. Just to be safe I have a long zip tie fastening parts of the tube to the under bumper grilles.
The blue color seems to be an issue. The same tube comes in black if that is what you want.
As to heat, the material is rated for -50 degrees F to +250 degrees, so I don't know how you can say the heat will affect it. It has lasted several moths of testing so far. We have tried several different materials and continue to test with this inlet installed on several 95s.
So believe me it does not vibrate and it will not melt.
