I had a bolt fail in the back of my crankshaft pulley which took out my oil pump and timing cover...it lost oil pressure at 90+MPH and I did shut it off in time and saved the engine but I ended up pulling the head and pan to change the timing cover and oil pump...
when I had the head off I took this pic
this car has run a GT3071R for 140K miles pushing about 22PSI
I built all the hardware and did the software... and actually learned to tune T7 on this car ... it took me months of trial and error to get itas good as it was... I recently totally remapped it based on my now years of experience and its a little smoother and maybe makes a bit more power but ran most of its life on a file I did as a beginner
the cylinders still show crosshatch from where I honed them 7 or 8 years and 140K miles ago... I thought it was amazing so I wanted to share my excitement
they used good iron even in the B235
have a great week
