In fact there are two guys that are ready to go Sub-nines.
Ed Bergenholtz's CRX is runing low nine serconds, and Stephan Papadakis's Civic Hatch is in the high eights! Furthermore, those numbers are from last season, just think what they'll do this season, with more traction oriented tweaks. Papadakis said last year that he had the power to go faster, but was having second gear and third gear traction problems.
Imagine the embarrassement of the Pro Street Big Boys getting "spanked" by a front wheel drive 4cyl. It has to make you grin just a little bit.
