> The OEM Racing Dynamics wheels on the Viggen are pretty sturdy.
The standard Viggen wheels are made by Radius and are model R1. They are made in Italy. Radius is a division of Fondmetal.
These wheels have been very notorious for bending and don't live up to your claim of being "pretty sturdy".
I do agree with you on the recommendation for a high quality retailer and would suggest finding one that uses a Hunter GSP 9700. This machine is capable of measuring the wheel run-out (it's roundness) and can do some amazing things to ensure the best ride possible. Follow the link below and then locate a dealer in your area.
With respect to the wheels, however, I think you're pretty much out of luck. I don't think you'll have much luck convincing Saab to replace your wheels for you. If you do you will open up a slew of claims against Saab for lots and lots of new Viggen wheels.
A quick search through the archive will show you just how prevalent a problem this is with the Viggen.
