Door stickers are fine as a starting place. No absolute rule applies to all people, in all driving styles, in all situations, for all tires. (No absolute rule is absolute??) It must be firmly enough inflated to prevent the bead from separating from the rim and to prevent overheating, and it must not be so overinflated that it is in danger of rupturing, but you get to choose between those ranges.
The door sticker reflects a compromise. The harder you drive (esp. the harder you brake and corner), the more critical it becomes to have sufficient pressure. The manufacturer's compromise reflects large weight given to COMFORT... if you're reading this bbs, you may value HANDLING and PERFORMANCE far more than comfort. 32 is TOO SOFT for optimum handling... but your mother in law will be grateful for the softer ride.
So, first decide what YOU want. The sticker doesn't have a clue which values are most important to you.
If performance and handling are your primary objectives: The sidewall of your tires should give a max inflation pressure. If possible without exceeding that value, start at 35 to 38 psi and see how that range fits your needs. (I run 35 in snow tires and 38 in summer tires, more for premeditated hard driving.)
If comfort is your objective and you do not like to push the car hard - - please consider selling your Aero to me. (grin!)
Enjoy
