I watched a local kid attempt a burnout in the mall parking lot with a turbo/NOS CRX and something came through the hood (seriously, a part launched through the hood with a loud bang and the engine stopped *instantly*.) Saw him again about a week later and asked him what happened, and apparently it was a chunk of metal from the block that made it through the hood, after the block got a hole smashed in it my the broken rod.
