30# injectors were installed in my '88 9000T the other day. With the stock regulator, descreening AMM, drilling holes in the airbox and turning the mixture screw on the AMM counterclockwise a few turns, the car runs smoothly.

Please correct the over-rich condition right away, because excess fuel in the engine contaminates the motor oil in a major way.

Many people think that going to 30# injectors is extreme. Its merely getting the Saab fuel delivery up to par compared to other 4cyl. turbo cars as shipped from the factory.

When its time to get really serious with bigger turbo, cyl. head, cams, exhaust etc., then its time for 42# and up sized injectors.

Somehow, I'd rather go with bigger injectors and have to lower the fuel pressure compared to having to raise the fuel pressure. The idea of something bursting and having all the fuel spill out scares me. This once happened to me on an '85 BMW 535i with stock injectors and stock regulator. Its amazing the car didn't blow up, considering that all the car's fuel sprayed all over the engine.
