Although my 02 Aero is too young to need new pads, I have used Ferodo and others on my BMW's and Audi's. Pagid makes a good pad as well - and is less prone to dusting your alloy wheels. You should talk to your installer and consider the absolute stopping power approach (fast wear/high dust/less brake fade) versus a compromise pad (low wear/less or zero dust/less ability to dissipate heat = slight fade). I made the compromise choice on my Bimmers and was very happy - even though I enjoy spirited driving...
I have a 75 mile morning commute and my front wheels on the Aero are nearly black upon arrival to work (and its mostly highway!). And... I leave the house at 5am to avoid the stop-and-go... this dusting is the result of very soft pads and the new compounds dictated by the removal of asbestos from the brake pads (and a good thing too as brake technicians were showing very high rates of lung cancer caused by the inhalation of fine particulate asbestos).
Cheers,
Eric
