Redoing the ram air and transition body piece (this thing hums at boost over 20psi) and was wondering if anyone had any good ideas? The ram air comes in off the passenger side fog light was and runs to the air box using a 3" flex hose. Plan on modifying the air box so that there is less dead air. The transitional body piece was enlarged using a drum sander on a hammer drill. I think the noise problem is coming from using a the low grit sandpaper in a pattern against the flow of air. Plan on resanding it but in the direction that the air will flow in. Any other suggestions or concerns I should be aware of?
