Those oem cited are viscous type, vs the gear type torsen/quaife/gleason. The viscous type can be set up with less lock-up tendency for fwd. See how many gear type are used oem for fwd.
My non-saab rear torsen was too quick to o-steer in the wet, and xtra slip additive helped a lot (less friction). It will turn redline's gear oil BLACK from heat in just 4 days on the track. I change it every year.
