When you begin to overpower the front end with a limited slip both wheels are spinning as well as sliding sideways, without the limited slip the inside wheel begins spinning while the outside wheel is handling most of the cornering load. Letting off the throttle without the LSD lets the inside wheel regain traction and at the same time shifts weight forward so both front wheels have increased turning ability. This normally will reduce understeer and help you mantain your intended path. With a limited slip You go from a condition where both front wheels are both spinning and sliding to a condition where both regain traction and hence cornering ability. The corresponding contribution to the front rear balance equation is much more pronounced.
Bear in mind I'm not complaining, I'm totally pleased eith the Quaife LSD in my Aero but more driver awairness is necessary.
