We bought a grey '92 9000T for $2000 but I felt it needed some work before she drove it every day. I spent about $1000 on new parts. New ball joint, tie rod, balance shaft chain and sprocket, rotors, upper strut bearings, DI cassette, plugs, TCS valve, new leather shift knob, lower a-arm bushing, sway bar end link bushings, and a new/used turbo for $300 off ebay. The former owner had a new dealer turbo installed a year ago and the wastegate flap fell off. You really can't blame being hit all the time on having a saab. I always assume the worst on the highway. IF a truck has a bunch of crap in the bed..don't drive behind it. I never drive behind or beside big rigs, dump trucks, etc. And the least known tip is always park at the high point of a big parking lot, like Kmart or walmart. WHen you park at the low point of a parking lot the carts roll downhill, straight to your car. I say keep your car, save some money, and fix it. You already have it running reliably.
