Aquamist update on my 1999 9-3

First a little background for those of you who don't know. I have a 1999 US spec 9-3S with a Hirsch ECU, and many other mods to go along with it. Anyways, I also had installed an Aquamist System 1s. I installed the water jet, as per Brad's instructions, about 1" after the intake temp sensor, since Brad believed that the open element sensor might not do so well with water getting on it. The results were ok but not great. I have since read a few posts and Brad has heard that others have not reported any problems with the jet being further upstream in the intake.
I got a M8 plug and reinstalled my water jet on the intake tube just after the BOV. It is now at the point where the tube is thicker to connect to the side of the cylinder head. This spot provided enough material to get a good amount of threads and also early enough in the intake stream to allow the cooling effects of the water spray to work better.
All I can say about the result is, wow! By the seat of the pants, moving the jet made quite a difference in power. Also, on my secret testing site on the German Autobahn, I improved on my top speed going up a certain hill by about 5 mph which indicates a good power increase. Also, no check engine light which is a good thing also!
Just thought I would let you all know.
Have fun!
