Hi Eric,
good to hear about your experience. I recently installed the same system on my Viggen. The spray jet is also just before the intake, but I think the tubes run a bit different than in your 93S. Anyway. On high outside temperatures the intake air was never hotter than 60 Cels (without water), means the Viggen IC is quite powerful and efficient. Thus, the water injection cooled it down to 25 C within seconds. During the current weather conditions the Aquamist will not be avtivated, because the boost pressure does not exceed 0.7 bar. The pressure valve from the Aquamist will trigger at that rate. My problem is, I can´t increase the boost pressure. The T7 is quite intelligent and recognizes my attempts to fool it. For example: Neither a bleeding valve nor increasing the drive-by-wire voltage from outside the ECU will result in higher boost, since the mass flow meter will compensate this immediately.
Well, maybe I have to upgrade the ECU now. Nevertheless, it might be also interesting to change the spray jet position as well. Let me give it a try...
We do live in Germany?
Greetings
Ulf
