T5Boost4 is NOT a simple passive resistor hack. It contains an active solid state surface mount circuit board. The transfer function of the circuit keeps the T5 long term fuel trim adaptive function within the +- 25% adaptive range. On the cars tested, the trim typically stabilizes at about 15%. All Trionic safety functions remain in effect when T5Boost4 is installed. T5boost4 has over 2 dozen components and was specifically engineered to fit within the connectors for a small easy to install package.
