when my BTM finally died, blue replacement had a trim screw to set action delay. Old was 1 psi default, this is 0-5 psi adj. Note this is the special BTM that is used with the 6A ign, not the universal BTM most have.
I petitioned MSD for an adjustable pressure limit, but no go. I tried a cheap industrial relief valve that worked but sounded like a woppy cushion (fart). then came up with dawes device (used to avoid boost cut on some cars). I'd prefer an internal pressure cap, vs offset. but ext relief may help avoid overpressure of internals, with high boosters.
