Here's a few things:
1) The 9000 lower a-arm is one piece vs. the viggen's (9-3) hack job susension. WHen you start throwing high power down in a front drive car...we all know the one with better traction will win. I agree with abbott's analysis of the viggen suspension. The big/sloppy bushings allow the lower balljoint suspension point to move around ALOT relative to the car during braking/accel. I plan on getting poly bushings (VRK) to keep the suspension geometry in place.
2) By looking at each car the 9000 seems to be wider. A wider car should be more stable.
3) THe aero uses 6 cm^2 turbine nozzle area while the viggen uses 5 cm^2. The smaller one in viggen will have less lag but not as much tuning potential.
4) I'm pretty sure you can fit tires wider than 225 on the aero. I'd like to try 235/40-17 on the viggen but it looks pretty tight in there with the 215's! The car with wider tires is faster..so the 9000 has the potential edge with tires.
The 9000 aero should be the better car given the facts but I really like my viggen! You gotta drive what you enjoy the most. I even like the looks of my spg more than the aero's.
