Hi Dean,
I have the Aquamist 1s installed in my 99 Viggen for more than a year now. The results were not as expected since the T7 is too smart. If you force the engine and the water is injected all the time the performance goes down! I measured the temperature w/o Aquamist switch on and found out, that the air cools down dramatically below 20 C! If you consider 40 C as an optimum air intake temperature, this the consistent cold airstream signals cold startup conditions to the T7. Without the 3D mapping of the water injection the T7 gets confused.
I also noticed that the Viggen IC is capable to cope outside temperatures up to 35 C without any problems. You always have a consistent intake temp of about 25- 30 C.
BTW: the standard Aquamist pressure switch is set to about 0,7 bar, means the systems only reacts in summer time at an outsidetemp at about 21 degree and outside pressure of 1000mbar.
Maybe the systems should be optimized together with a specific ECU mod. Otherwise it´s not really worth it and you have to be careful with the throttle.
Greetings
ulf
