Heya guys,

Well she's finally done. I picked up the car yesterday and it's everything I imagined and more. I may have the 'top half' repainted because the brand new paint on the bumpers/arches/panels really shows all the tiny scratches up close on the original 13-year old paint. That's another bridge to cross (hopefully before the convention) after I get my headgasket in. We'll see.

For those of you who may or may not know, the kit is a fiberglass replica of the original airflow kit. It is made by a company in Sweden called Johannson Motorsport, who can no longer sell the kits outside of Sweden because they have been put on Sweden's black list. I bought it from John at Saab Savior at last year's convention for around $400-450ish. The kit went on fairly easily. That being said, I did not do the work personally, but my mechanic (son of the body shop owner) kept me updated. It needed a lot of work to make it really smooth and to fit juuuust right, but overall it wasn't too bad. Again, I didn't do the work, but if I did I bet I would have a different opinion.

Well, that's about it. You can contact me with any questions. For any questions regarding availability, contact John at Saab Savior (http://www.saabsavior.com)

Check out the pictures at my saabpics exterior gallery!

Take care!
